Rex of Ignis Empire
Played by Fess

Hunter had been exploring the lake and rainforest areas as of late. The 'unclaimed' portions anyhow, and this territory, while rather unstimulating in comparison was nearby and did provide some pleasantly suitable opportunities to hunt.

One of the benefits of avoiding attachment and a group proper was the freedom to wander far and wide as one pleased. No requirements to answer to the will of another, no regulations to follow beyond those self determined.

Of course the main downfall was food could be slim at times, even for one as creative and resourceful as himself. Due to his ... uniquely varied diet however Hunter was not underweight at the moment, though it could be accurately said he did not have any access fat on his toned frame more due to lack of opportunity rather than purposeful choice.

In a landscape as relatively flat and semi-barren as this unusual shapes and scents tended to stand out from a distance, as was the case in this moment. Sharp eyes caught warm hues, out of place in the cool season landscape. Scents brought to him from upwind, familiar and telling, causing his pupils to dilate slightly in recognition. Even from behind and seeing the figures only from a distance patterns and hues were known as farmilar.

Was it so?

But it had been so long.

At once he was on the hunt, low, cautious, quiet...moving from downwind and creeping carefully using what cover could be found. The game was afoot! What game? The game of see how close we can get to a sibling before being noticed. If he was fortunate perhaps it would be close enough to pounce. The thought caused a mischievous smile to curl the edges of his lips even as his ears slicked back in anticipation.

Yes. He could be a bit of a big cub at heart at times. (Albeit a huge vampiric, cabalistic, carnivorous cub.)
