Lion of Ithilien
Played by Naboo

Frigid winds spilled against his coat and reached down into his flesh in an unpleasant manner. Chills rose in the spots where the wind broke through his fur and once more he wondered why he had to come here. Of course the prey were plenty of prey here, and the herds of caribou had recently gone this way. Cloven hooves littered the ground of the open tundra where they had been gathered before their move this morning. He followed along the trails without duress, apart from a little biting cold he knew that his journey into the tundra would not be long lived this time. He would be here long enough to catch prey and bring something small back to the pride lands. Shoulders moved back and forth as his paws coordinated beneath, the cold crackling against his toes caws his claws to knead into the earth with each step forward, crimson gaze set upon the distance to watch for when the herd would come back into his line of sight.

When they came into sight the goliath lion vanished against the earth. His tall body, lengthy legs and slender frame moved towards the earth and the cold snow brushed against his chest. His paws moved beneath his frame swiftly and he circled around towards the edges, finding a copse to hide in and wait as he watched the herd. But it was not long before a commotion arose and bodies tumbled to the earth, a mighty lion bringing down a lone caribou that had wandered too far. His jaws tightened a little as the herd dispersed further, moving to where they could have a good line of sight and he knew that any attempt at grabbing one now would be futile.

Instead he moved towards the red creature that had felled the beast. His stride was calm and long, ears rotating forward atop his creamy skull and his chocolate mohawk standing rigid before collapsing loosely onto his shoulders and partway down his back. Calmly he came within about twenty feet before pausing, a small grin pulling his lips backwards and his eyes fell upon her, calm whiskey voice rising and a resounding tenor escaping as it crawled up his throat. "That was well played, you are skilled." The calm nature of the lion emanated from his body in a manner which left him quite exposed, he was a transparent creature, and perhaps they would see that. If they hadn't they may take his presence as an intrusion, but without giving in to the idle gnaws of hunger in his stomach he tipped his head to them. "Did you hunt just for yourself today?"
