Lioness of Prideless
Played by Naboo

Despite the cooling effect that blew down from the tundra, the waste was a place where it never seemed to feel anything short of scorching. Befouling the mood of the red lioness was not a particularly hard task, and when the sun mercilessly beat upon her hide to the point that she felt like the skin was pulling against her bones and her fur would spontaneously combust, her dark lips pulled into an irate snarl. The curling flesh of the bridge of her nose rippled in disgust until something in the distance caught her attention, saffron eyes turning upon the distraction with more enthusiasm than her body cared to emulate. Nearly sauntering until she reached the point of interest, a rather young tortoise, she questioned why she'd even come here in the first place. Taking the creature between her jaws for some entertainment, she began to seek a temporary shelter, toes sinking through the sands in a place where her claws felt more like decoration rather than being of any use. Begrudgingly in the distance she spotted the outcropping of rock that provided the only shade, the ground underfoot beginning to harden and become more loosely decorated with sprouts of grass and a mixture of gravel, soil, and sand that was slightly more permissible than what she'd dealt with up until now.

However it seemed that she'd been beaten to the point. As she drew nearer and happened to be just close enough to feel shade enclose over her body - thank god - she saw the curled up slate-colored form. Her jaws released the tortoise close to the earth and possessively put a paw over it, claws grappling into the shell and holding it in place with her weight. There was a distinct lack of empathy in her voice as her ears folded backwards, mane skittering away from her eyes with a light toss of her head. "You dead?"
