Lioness of Prideless

It seemed that she was not the only one enjoying the winter wonderland when a voice called out over the winds and snow. In a language, she knew well, knew from her mother's side of the family. It piqued her interest and drew that dual-toned gaze onto the bright and multi-colored lioness approaching her. She seemed excited about something and it puzzled her, but she did not voice this. Instead, she remained silent until the other female was close enough to easily be heard.


As the other greeted her as friend she found herself arching an invisible brow. Friend? She did not know the female before her, and yet the other called her friend. It was strange to her and bold for the other to assume she was friendly. "Cé tusa?" It was a simple question, but spoken in her mother's tongue to see if the other understood the language as well as spoke it. While she knew of her family members like she knew the names she had never seen them and had long since forgotten how her mother described them in the past year. "Ghlaoigh tú orm mar chara, an bhfuil aithne agat ormsa?" She asked after a few moments of silence, turning to face the other female fully. Her slate frame with red hindquarters was vaguely familiar to her, yet she could not place why.
