The bursts and pops of the murky water continued on as they filed in. Each one a different size as it broke the surface, yet would smell just as horrid as the one previous to it. However if one was to pay close enough attention, they would notice that they were, in fact, growing in size and the amount of them at one time. With each mini-explosion, the amount of free space offered to those within would shrink.

The noise of them began to grow more so in the north. To the south, it would seem a thin path still lay clear and unbothered by the sudden chaos of the land. As if it was planted there to tempt them down it and away from the rotten-egg stench of the water that popped so viciously toward them.
