Lioness of Prideless
Played by dusk

Already she could feel the fire swelling in her breast, tickling the back of her throat and threatening to spill forth. Her claws anchored into the ground, tearing up the soft firmament underfoot. What are our plans? I plan to seek a crown and set the beginnings of the Tollaire Empire as before. Arsynia's ears twitched at her response. She'd been part of the youngest litter, but she'd long borne witness to the war the Tollaire's were forced into, the throes of battle that came afterward that blighted the land and separated their family. Was Drakon yet so eager to toss themselves into such a situation when now it was only the two of them? Part of her knew she should listen to the eldest of them, but now more than ever she needed her father's guidance, and the burning soul within could not fetter her from her own ambitions.

“Not yet,” she affirmed, “to join the hordes scrambling for crowns now would only weaken us. We will lay low, gather allies, and when the time comes and our numbers grow larger, stake a claim that will be supported by an army that none would dare to challenge.” Her words were bold, but resolute, hoping desperately that they would not be alone. At the very least, Arsynia had already met two men who'd had their eyes on their own crowns: and if both were successful, she might have very well gained two allies of her own.
