Teuta is not far behind her own arrival and Hildryn offers the sunset-marked woman a polite dip of her head in greeting. As rough around the edges her new comrades were, she was quickly growing to respect and appreciate them all. As it appeared though, not all of them were so quick to answer the captain's summons.

When Rue spoke she sounded irritated, and Hildryn's lips flattened sympathetically. She had personally warned Walford they could soon be called, and was frustrated he had not turned up. Hildryn realised her words must've had no weight to him - he was a settled member of the crew and her nagging had gone unheeded. She'd picked lakeweed out of his mane for nothing. It stung, a little.

Instead of pondering on her thoughts, Hildryn instead focused on what else her captain had to say. Blue eyes widened a little at the recount of the fight. She had fought a man for a claim? How brave! She did look like she had come out worse for wear though. Her folded ears prick slightly as Rue then directly addresses Hildryn herself and she straightens up slightly.

"Of course," she answers "I will need to gather a few more herbs but I would be pleased to help, captain." As always. She liked feeling useful. It made her feel less like a tag-along.
