Broad paws pressed against a vast rolling landscape, thick with grass and underbrush, the grass coming to life once more with the growing consistency of coming rainfall during the season of his birth. His first birthday had only just passed, how mother promised he would grow a thick, full mane like his father before him. But ha! It never came, from a distance the man could easily be mistaken for a lioness, his mouse brown and grey pelt against the dull backdrop of the darkening evening steppes, he moved without purpose, still though he did not saunter or slouch. No; he would bound instead, blue eyes ever darting over the terrain for anything of possible interest or excitement. A blink of movement here, a bird there and Pan's eyes would dance mimicking the restless nature of his own, inability to be still.

Blue eyes came to lock onto another bird, picking through the grass for its next meal, the man stilled, ears slowly rotating forward letting his frame sink down onto his belly. Did he truly expect to catch it? Really it was just a game for him, something set to merely pass the time, shoulders would roll as he attempted to inch closer. Another moment until he leapt from his crouched place, launching his body toward the small bird - which of course fled to the skies long before he made contact with where it once sat.

The man huffed, allowing his body weight to roll; ungracefully so he fell onto one shoulder first before rolling onto his back, kicking out his back feet belly exposed as the man rolled the his crown against the earth, orbs of sapphire set on the upside down horizon before him.
