The cold did little to distract the huntress. The snow crunched, but the sound of trees shifting and ice crackling made the noises she produced seem like normal. Ahead of her was the pale form of a snowshoe hair. Perhaps her red coat would stick out- yes, but she had rolled thoroughly in fresh snow, and she looked like a patch of dirty snow. Albeit moving. The hare idly chewed a dead piece of grass, its ears up in the air and its nose twitching constantly, on the lookout for danger. It looked at her once. She froze, it stared for a long time before looking away and she headed forward towards her target once again. Suddenly the ground beneath Soule gave way to a shallow hole, where the ice had frozen over like a fragile sheet- and the sound was like shattering glass. The hare took off, and the lioness leapt after it, but in the deep snow and the hare's body being built specifically for the terrain, it quickly got away, and defeated she growled, sighing.
